Polka dot challenge

I needed a new challenge, something different and something I haven't drawn before. Basically, I wanted to draw something I wouldn't thought of drawing normally. And so, I started thinking what would make me push my comfort zones a little bit, get out of the usual pattern and forget about boundaries (that, most likely, I set myself in the past, of course).

Flat ears were the shape I draw first and then it just happened from there. As I mentioned before, I hardly ever know what my drawing is going to look like in advance, so I didn't know what I would come up with and in that situation even more so! I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The thrill of the unknown, the discovering of how different (definitely positive different!) you can feel when not being afraid of trying something new. It's very exciting and I really need to make sure to remember that for later.
